Schoolwires is the district's newest tool for the design and construction of teacher websites.

Schoolwires hierarchy

Site – District level
Subsite – School
Channels – School sections (home, counseling, library, teachers)
Section – a collect of pages within a channel
Section pages – displayed on the left side of a section

To access Schoolwires you need:

  1. A computer
  2. An Internet connection
  3. A browser
  4. A Schoolwires account

You do not need to learn HTML or how to use Dreamweaver.

August 2008 Schoolwires login instructions - these are temporary login instructions. The main Schoolwires websites are in various stages of development and this series of steps may change. Feel free to bookmark/favorite the link for your site.

1. Click on the link above for your site.

2. Click on the "Sign in" link in upper-right hand corner.

3. Click on the "Teachers" link on the top menu.

4. Click on your name.

5. Click on "Site Manager" in the upper right hand corner. NOTE that the "Site Manager" link will not appear until after you have clicked on your name.

Logout instructions

1. Close the "Site Manager" page.

2. Click the "Sign out" link in the upper right hand corner.
