Creating Assessments (Assignments) in eSchoolPlus

Before you begin creating assessments in eSchoolPlus you must select at least ONE category. Click here for help.

1. Login to eSchoolPlus.

2. From the TAC Home page click on Def next to the desired class. If you have not selected one category you will see the category selection window first.

3. Each Assessment is comprised of the following information:

Date Assigned (optional)- use the handy calendar to select this date. Points (optional)- indcates points possinble
Date Due (required)- use the handy calendar to select this date. Weight (optional)- this is the weight of the individual assessment
Category (requred)- select one category from the drop-down menu. Files (optional)- see attaching files to an assessment.
Extra Credit (optional)- choose either "Not Extra Credit", "Add to Total Points" or "Add to Average". For more information on Extra Credit please click here. Publish Item (optional)- if this box is checked the assessment will be visible to parents and students.
Description- this information will appear online (if shared) as well as as on the Scores page. Click the More button if you wish to enter a lengthier description. Publish Scores (optional)- if this box is checked the asessment score will be visible to parents and students. Parents and students will only be able to see their score and not those of other students.

4. Click the Save option once you have entered required and optional information. Note that a blank assessment entry appears after you saved a completed assessment.

5. Clicking the My Classes button returns you to the class list. The Scores button takes you to the Scoring Assessment page. The Copy button begins the process related to copying assessments from class to class.
