eSchoolPlus Scoring Assessments

The quizzes are done. Papers handed in. Time to enter those grades.

1. Log in to eSchoolPlus.

2. Click on the Score option next to the desired class

OR you can click on the "score" button that can be found at the top of the assessment page.

3.Notice the menu at the top of the Score window. The RPT (Report) tab will show only assessment grades that contribute to the current report card. The SEM tab displays grades that contribute to the semester grade. The All tab shows all grades.

The other tabs will vary depending on the categories that you have selected to use in your gradebook. Category tabs in blue show active assessments, gray tabs indicate categories that are not yet associated with assessments.

4. Click in the column for the relevant assessment and enter the first score. Press the enter key to move to the next student in the column. Press the tab key to move to the next column.

FYI:

>If you enter a value that is inaccurate (B instead of 85) you will receive a warning popup.

>If you enter a value higher the total assessment points the score will have a blue background. A yellow background indicates that the score entered is not valid. A pink background indicates that the score has been dropped based on your settings entered when you created the assessment. If the score's font is red this indicates that you have entered a comment for that score.

Adding a Comment to an Assessment Score

Q: What's the difference between a Note and a Comment?

A: A Note is designed to provide a running log or commentary for the teacher's use. Individual notes may be published in the HAC at the teacher's discretion. Notes take the place of a free-form report card comments.

A Comment is information about that specific score for an individual student. It might be used to indicate why they received extra credit or that an assignment was turned in early. A comment of this type can be useful when it accompanies an alpha score.
