eSchoolPLUS Semester Grade Calculations

The eSchoolPLUS gradebook provides teachers with a variety of ways to calculate semester grades. Please review the descriptions, examples and instructions below in order to find the best fit for you. Once you have selected a description that meets your needs there is one last choice: do you wish to show the final exam grade on the report card? Choose your instructions based on this option.

Note that any percentages utilized in the examples are not set in stone - you may choose your own percentages.

If you need help choosing the best option for you please contact Rod Milstead (rmilstead@tamdistrict) . Tell me how you calculate your semester grades and I will provide you with the method that best matches your preference.

Description Example Instructions
1. R6 and S2 are the same grade R6 and S2 are the same grade

2. Final exam grade does not affect the R6 grade. Final exam grade only affects the semester grade.

Semester grade=
R6 (80%) and Final exam grade (20%)

3. Semester grade is calculated by weighting each grading period individually Semester grade=
