1. Click on the Def link next to the desired class.

2. Click on the tab labeled "Report Card Averages".

4. Begin by clicking in the "Current View" column to select "EXM - Final Exam".

5. Look at the bottom half of the page. Uncheck all items except for Final Exam as shown in the example on the right. Note that you may check an alternative category if you wish to have another category grade appear on the report card.

6. Switch the current view to the "EXMNP - Final Exam- No Print" row. Check the override box in this row.

7. Uncheck all items in the "Include" column following the method described in item 5 above

8. Switch the current view to the "RPT" row. Check the override box in this row.

9. Uncheck the "Final Exam" category in this row. This insures that the R6 grade will not be affected by the Final Exam score.

10. Switch the current view to the SEM mark type and check the Override box.

11. Look on the bottom half of the page. Click the Override option next to EXM-Final Exam. Change the number in the weight column to the desired percentage. In the example shown on the right, the Final Exam grade will make up 20% of the semester grade.

12. Click Save on the EXM - Final Exam row.

13. Click Override next to the EXMNP - Final Exam - No Print row. Change the Weight value to 0. Click Save.

14. Click Override next to the RPT-Report Period row and enter a value in the Weight column. Click Save. In the example above the R3 grade makes up 80% of the semester grade.

15. Note that you may change any of these values by clicking on the "Edit" option next to each row. Clicking on the "Restore" option returns the Weight value to its default setting.

16. That's over with. For details on loading these grades onto the report card click here.
