eSchoolPlus Daily Attendance

These directions describe taking attendance for a single class. To learn how to take attendance by meeting (multiple classes meeting during the same class period) click here.

1. Login to the eSchoolPlus Teacher Access Center.

2. Make sure that you are on the "My Classes" page.

3. Look to the right of the desired class for daily attendance options highlighted below:

Click Att to take attendance from a list of students (example below). Selecting All P marks all students present for this class. No need to open the list. Displays a photo attendance page that can double as a seating chart. Details here.

4. Clicking Att displays the "Take Attendance" window as shown below.

Check the A box to mark a student absent.

T marks a student as tardy.

The P checkbox is used only to change a student's attendance from absent or tardy to present.

You do not have to mark students as present- they are assumed to be present.

-the Check All Abs button marks all students absent
-the Check All Tar button marks all students tardy
-the Clear buttons reverse the process

 

Dismiss and Arrive times for an individual student may be entered by the teacher or attendance clerk. The Add Entry plus symbol allows for a second Dismiss or Arrive time to be entered. Times in red have been entered by the attendance clerk.

Clicking on an individual student name will display the "Student Detail" window which provides student demographic information and photo (if available).

5. Click the Save button to submit attendance.

6. Green check marks on the "My Classes" list (found by clicking the Home button) indicate that you have already taken attendance for individual classes.
